This chapter is not an attempt to describe all the features of SCAM nor JBoss/Tomcat, but will rather act as a quick guide of howto install, configure and use SCAM.
The discussion is based on JBoss v3.2.1 bundled with Tomcat v4.1.24. Some variations may exist from one version to another. The reference implementation of a SCAM-based application is the portfolio application, scamPortfolio. $JBOSS_HOME represents the home directory of your JBoss installation and $CONFIG is the name of your configuration.
